Strawberry and Walnut Cookies
We always have the habit of making cookies with vanilla chocolate chips but that’s before.
Now with this recipe you will be able to discover a new version of cookies: with fresh strawberries, dried strawberries and nuts which add a textural contrast whether they are chopped in the dough or pressed on top.
It’s soft and crunchy at the same time.
Strawberry and Walnut Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 C. butter
- 1 1/2 C. finely chopped walnuts
- 1/2 C. brown sugar
- 2 egg yolks
- 2 C. all-purpose flour
- 2 egg whites
- 1/2 C. raspberry jam
Instructions
- Set your oven at 350 degrees F before doing anything else.
- Stir flour into a mixture of butter, egg yolk and brown sugar and refrigerate it for at leasttwo hours before forming small sized balls out of it and rolling them in sugar.
- Roll these balls in egg white and then chopped walnuts.
- Place these balls with some distance on a baking sheet and create divots with yourthumb.
- Bake everything in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes before filling that divot withraspberry jam.
- Cool it down.
- Serve.
Cinnamon Apple Cake
A vanilla, lemon or chocolate cake are the classics. I present to you a new version which is not expensive either, very delicious, soft and tender. Sprinkled with pieces of chopped apple which brings sweetness with a warm touch of cinnamon.
You can also enrich the flavor by adding icing, caramel sauce or maple syrup on top.
Cinnamon Apple Cake
Ingredients
- 3 lb. apples – peeled, cored and sliced
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 C. all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 C. white sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 C. vegetable oil
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Set your oven to 350 degrees F before doing anything else and grease a 13×9-inch bakingpan.
- In the bottom of the prepared pan, arrange the apple slices.
- In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the eggs and oil and mix till well combined.
- Place the mixture over the apples and sprinkle with the cinnamon.
- Cook in the oven for about 40-45 minutes
Cherry Cheesecake
We always have the impression that cheesecakes are not feasible given the number of ingredients and their price. But today I’m going to prove to you that this is not the case with my recipe, cherry cheesecake, a delicious dessert that contains a creamy and cheesy filling as well as tangy at the same time thanks to the fresh cherries. An irresistible combination of flavors and textures.
Cherry Cheesecake
Ingredients
- 24 vanilla wafer cookies
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
- 3/4 C. white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 1/2 tbsps lemon juice
- 1 (12 oz) can cherry pie filling
Instructions
- Set your oven at 350 degrees before doing anything else.
- Get a muffin tin and put a wafer in each section.
- Add eggs (one at a time) into a mixture of cream cheese and sugar before adding vanillaextract and lemon juice.
- Mix everything thoroughly.
- Fill 2/3 of each muffin section with this mixture.
- Bake this in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes.
- Refrigerate it for at least 1 hour.
- Top with cherries.
- Serve.
